David articled with the Court of Appeal of Alberta and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. In 1991, David joined Chivers Carpenter and became a partner in 1996. David appeared before all levels of the Federal Court and the court in Alberta. He has extensive experience advocating before arbitrators and tribunals including both the Alberta and Canada Labour Relations Boards. David continues to share his expertise in labour law as an arbitration nominee and a coach for the University of Alberta labour arbitration moot team.
