Drew practices labour, employment, professional discipline, and human rights law. He began his practice in criminal law and has appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Alberta Court of Appeal; the Court of Queen’s Bench; and the Provincial Court of Alberta. He has conducted numerous arbitration hearings and has appeared before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, the Law Enforcement Review Board, the Hearing Tribunal of the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta, as well as the Chartered Professional Accountants Disciplinary Tribunal and Appeal Board.

He articled with Dawson Stevens Duckett & Shaigec. He was hired as an associate in 2015 and conducted numerous trials in criminal matters. Drew joined Chivers Carpenter in 2017 and became a partner in 2022.

He enjoys camping, fishing, and exploring forests with his children.
