Nahanni received her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Alberta. During law school, Nahanni was an editor with Alberta Law Review, a research assistant for Professor O’Byrne, and the President of OUTlaw, a student organization focused on 2SLGBTQI+ advocacy. She was Valedictorian for the class of 2021 and received several academic awards, including the George Bligh O’Connor Silver Medal in Law and the Merv Leitch Q.C. Prize for success in constitutional law.

In 2025, Nahanni joined Chivers Carpenter as a research and writing lawyer. She writes papers, legal opinions, briefs, and factums on a variety of issues relating to labour, employment, administrative, human rights, and privacy law. Prior to joining the firm, Nahanni articled and practiced as an associate at an international law firm in Edmonton.

In her spare time, Nahanni enjoys spending time with friends, hiking and backcountry camping, and getting “Queen Bee” on the daily Spelling Bee.
