Ritu Khullar. The Honourable Chief Justice of Alberta. Brilliant jurist. Inspirational leader.
These are just some of the words the legal community is using to describe this remarkable woman. Ritu Khullar’s passing in early September has led to a flood of well-earned praise and fond memories. Ritu was part of our Chivers family. She was the managing partner and so much more. Mentor. Friend. Colleague. Role model. A fierce advocate of our clients’ rights and a deeply caring and compassionate human being. Our deepest condolences go to her husband Rob and her children Samir and Nikhil.
Ritu helped build the Chivers legacy and we will continue striving to meet her high standards.
